Eiji looked up to his father and grinned.

"It was sort of uh intimidating but it wasn't bad!"

Hattori looked to his son and he shook his head.

"If it was bad or good doesn't matter, what could of happened if she accidentally dropped you?"

Eiji's ears went down.

"I'm fine though, and she kept her promise about not dropping me."

Hattori growled lightly with his head turned away, he was surely worried about all the stuff that could of happened.

Eiji looked down sadly for he hated it when his father was like this.

Aimi stands up at turns to them "I'm sorry but i must defend myself. I have never dropped anyone i have flown with before unless they wanted me to, Also if Eiji had slipped i am perfectly capable of caughting him. I've have caught the people who wanted me to drop them with ease. HE was perfectly safe"

Hattori frowned to her.

"Things don't always go as planned at times. Chances are you would of dropped him meaning a 45/100 percent chance of that happening."

Eiji looked between the two with his ears still down and his slender tail in between his slender legs.

Aimi frowns back at him "I'm positive i could have caught him" She stops herself from saying anymore and bows her head again "I'm sorry, you are right, i shouldn't have offered to let him fly with me with out your permisson first. I am truely sorry. i would not like to argue with you, he is your son. You have a right to be worried" She keeps her head bowed, her long hair covering her face, which had a pink tint on her cheeks and Ayame rubs up against Eiji's leg

Eiji glares at his father.

"Hey! I'm fine! Don't start chewing her up!"

Hattori looked to Eiji stunned for he had never heard his son raise his voice at him before.

Aimi looks at Eiji, surprised to see him standing up for her but she shakes her head, the pink tint coming back "No really I was out of line"

Eiji looked to her and he smiled.

"No! You weren't, you just tried to show some fun and I have nothing against it"

Eiji looked to his father some what mad like.

"But he needs to loosen up a bit! Hear that father, I'm getting older and I will be able to take care of myself. So, don't start acting like a jerk only cause you are older than me!"

Hattori closed his eyes feeling a small pain in his chest.

Aimi flinches "Eiji, he is just worring. You shouldn't talk like that to him, you should at least be happy you have him." She looks down, she never got a chance to remember what her parents even looked like

Eiji pouts lightly with his ears down.

"I know I shouldn't but he is a big boy, what is he going to cry if I keep saying bad stuff?"

Hattori looked away with a hint of pain over his features.

Aimi looks at Hattori then back to Eiji a look of jealously in her eyes "Eiji, be happy he is there for you, he has a right to worry. I would love to have a dad like him, i would love to have parents" She flinches a little at the last part and she looks down Ayame purring up at her

Eiji frowned lightly.

"What makes you think I'm ungrateful. I love him to death but he puts me through the freaking edge! I want to have a normal everyday life and not have to be constantly under supervision!"

Hattori looked to Eiji some what sadly.

"Is that what you really want, you want me to leave?"

Eiji looked to his father and he looked down with his ears down also seeing his fathers pain.

"Well?"

"I'm thinking about it."

"Do you want me to leave and never come back?"

"I never said that!"

Eiji hugs his father with tears in his eyes.

"I never said that!?!"

Hattori's expression was a guilty one as he returned his sons hug.

Aimi smiles a little, a ping of guilt and jealous hitting her chest and she opens her wings again "I think i did too much damage, I should go to make sure i don't do anymore" She turns to grab Ayame but she was still attached to Eiji and she frowns at her as she purs rubbing against his leg

Eiji blinked and he petted the cat's head softly.

Hattori sighed.

"Eiji is getting to that age where he will back talk me anyway."

Eiji blushes embarrassed.

Hattori looked to Aimi calmly.

"I guess I was a little over that mark, I shouldn't speak to you that way since you now told me you have no parents."

Eiji looked up from petting Ayame as he looked between the two.

Hattori glanced to his son and then back to Aimi.

"That was childish of me by arguing with you."

Aimi shakes her head "It's alright, I should have known parents are over protective for their children...I have lost lots of friends that way" She laughs but it was a somewhat sad one "I know I would be scolded many times for the things I have done when flying." She blushs embarressed but looks to Eiji "I knew losts of kids my-...I mean your age that have talked back to their parents and ended up killing their peaceful relationship with them, if you talk back to your father, make sure it's for a good reason, and talking back to him to stand up for me isnt't a good reason, but thatnk you" She smiles her blush growing slightly

Eiji jumps up lightly and he grinned shyly.

"Heh, your welcome and besides our relationship is a bit stronger than most parents with kids."

Hattori glared lightly to his son.

"What are you going to ask her on a date now?"

Eiji's eyes go wide and he blushed but then seeing his fathers glare made him glare back.

"There you go again! I can't wait and date people! 19 to 20 is quite unfair don't you think!"

"Do you make income?"

"No, but I will so-"

"Then that explains why you can't date, you gotta take them on dates then your going to save up some money and go to college but realize you've spended it already when you were still dating around 15. Don't you see where I'm getting at?"

"Oh hush! It isn't like I'm constantly going to take them on dates!"

Hattori frowned making Eiji smirk in victory.

Aimi looks at Hattori and she feels her cheeks red and she covers her face with her hands, hiding her blush, not really listening to the rest of their conversation trying to control her blush but failing and her cheeks and nose stay their bright red color

Eiji's ears were up along with his tail as he smiles.

"Haha!"

Hattori looked to Aimi not really caring on what his son was feeling.

"Are you catching something?"

Aimi pulls her hands down from her face slowly "N.no that's not it" she shakes her head

Eiji still grins in victory not really knowing what his father was up too.

Hattori raised a eyebrow at Aimi silently which caught his sons eye and he looked shocked.

"Father are you liking Aimi?"

"What makes you think that?"

"Your always talking to her?"

"Why can't I?"

"Father, you like talking to her."

Hattori looked to his son quite calmly.

"Yes, I like talking to her and if you keep this up I won't have you talk to a girl your age."

Eiji blinked and hissed out with his ears down and tail up.

"That is so UNFAIR!?!"

Hattori smirked with his eyes closed for that was his victory look.

Aimi's blush suddenly comes back, why had the conversation suddenly turned to her, she didn't stop blushing as the subjecr changed a little back she looks at her feet trying to control her blush again

Eiji pouted and he looks to Aimi.

"Do you like my father?"

Hattori frowned as he silently looked to the two.

Aimi looks at Eiji and stutters "I.I guess so, but not in the way you are think, as a friend. That would seem wrong" she looks to Hattori and freezes "N.not that I couldn't like you I mean you great" she shuts up and hangs her head blushing deeper

Hattori closed his eyes.

"It is quite alright."

Eiji looked to his father and he clutched hold of his dads arm his expression saddened.

"Father, please don't be sad."

"Didn't I tell you it was harder than it looks. It is better for me to be single."

Eiji shakes his head his ears down along with his tail between his legs.

"No! We will find someone! You like guys but Aimi is a girl! There is still hope!"

Hattori patted his sons head and turned away making Eiji frown.

"I'm going on home, you can stay if you want."

"No! Stay here please!"

"Eiji I have to go back to the bar."

Eiji grabbed his arm.

"Stay!"

Hattori sighed and stayed still as Eiji looked to Aimi as he smiles faintly.

"Thank you for your honesty."

Aimi looks at then her blush gone and she grabs her head and tilts it backward "GOD DAMN IT!" She basically screams towards the heavens she then puts her head, down shaking and holding it "What the hell is up with me and making everyone I meet sad, or scream at me?" She falls to her knees cursing repeatedly Ayame hides behind Eiji, having never seen Aimi do that

Eiji lets go of his fathers arm and he softly walked over to Aimi and hugged her gently around the shoulders.

"It is alright, we were sad along time ago. It isn't your fault."

Hattori frowned walking over as well as he hugged his son and Aimi both his eyes closed making Eiji grin softly.
