The top of the Ruins

Kasari walked from the forest onto the roof of the ruins. Her white cane scanned the ground in front of her, making sure she didn't fall off or hit anything. She tripped often, but never fell down. Kasari paused when her cane hit a large root. Not knowing if it was a sleeping monster or not, she gingerly avoided it. Once she reached the edge of the Ruins, she sat there, feet hanging towards the ground.

Kasari attempts to shift her weight, but ends up scratching her wrist on a thorny branch. "Sh-Shit!" She grabbed her wrist, trying to put pressure on it. Blood dripped through her fingers anyways, even though she tried her best to stop the bleeding.

Sora climbed up onto the roof of the ruins with her sketchbook in one hand and her bag slung over her shoulder. She also had a pencil tucked behind her ear. As she climbed up, however, she spotted another girl, and she quickly ducked back down. She took another peek and noticed the girl was bleeding, and she timidly climbed back up, "U-um, excuse me... are you hurt?"

Kasari, unable to see, turned her head backwards and forwards anyways. "If you're not going to eat me, then yes." The weird thing was, was that she seemed totally serious about her statement.

She observed the abrupt movements in which the girl acted, and she moved towards her a couple inches, "Why would I want to do something like that?"

Kasari clutched her wrist more tightly. "I'd much rather be more safe then sorry. What a fool I must be making of myself. I'm Kasari by the way." She considers offering the girl a handshake, but thinks against it, imagining her blood spraying out of her arm comically.

"I'm Sora... I have a few bandages if you want them you know." For some reason, she felt comfortable around this girl. Perhaps because she didn't seem to be looking for any sort of eye contact, or maybe Sora just wanted to help that badly.

Kasari un-tensed in relief. "Thank you. I would gladly accept some." She stuck out her hand gently, not in any way demanding, not sure how to receive the bandages and not seem stuck up.

She smiled faintly, pulling some bandaids out of her bag and putting them in Kasari's extended hand.

Kasari took the bandages and doctored her wrist. "If you don't mind me asking, what brings you to the forest?" The blonde didn't look at her wrist as she fixed it, but out in front of her. Her white cane was on her other side, so that Sora couldn't see it.

"My dad promised to take me out here to I could make some new additions to my sketchbook." She replied as she shifted into a more comfortable sitting position.

Kasari smirked. "That's cool." Kasari finished with the bandages and shoved the waste into her pocket. "I've been told I'm not a very good artist."

"It's your opinion that matters most though." She said absentmindedly as she started flipping through her sketchbook. She was already brainstorming for her next idea.

Kasari went quiet at the sound of the sketchbook papers rustling. She knew that some people didn't like being talked to when they were drawing. Kasari instead grabbed her white cane from her side and adjusted the length so that it was longer than she was tall. She pointed the cane down, trying to find out how far down the ground was.

Sora silently glanced over, seeing the cane, and she simply observed quietly. She didn't seem to have much of an opinion about what Kasari was doing. She seemed more indifferent than anything.

Not hitting anything, Kasari sighed. "We must be up pretty high." She had a feeling that her attempts at small talk were going to get her no where.

Sora smiled, "Yeah. Its nice and peaceful up here though." She said as she took in the view.
