Nachimoto Sidewalks

"It was all good and well until the neighbors realized what had happened." Kasari scratched the back of her head and smiled nervously. "I got a pan thrown at my head."

Mai sweatdrops and looks to her with a worried look.
"A pan?! W-were you okay?!"

Kasari nodded. "It hurt, but then Rowan tackled the neighbor. Needless to say, we had to move."

Mai sat down by the wall and Chibi moved to his lap.
"Thats kinda cruel isn't it? I mean, a pan to the head is taking it a little too far."

Kasari shrugged, taking note that he had just sit down. She crossed her arms, not out of anger but just to have something to do with them. "I suppose some people are really protective of their gardens. Like old people are with their lawns!"

Mai chuckles and pets Chibi.
"Hehe, Yeah excatly. Now thats comical!"

Kasari nods. She doesn't look down at the two, but asks, "Can you talk to Chibi?" It seemed like a random question to Kasari, but hey, maybe he would answer.

Mai tilts his head, not at all thinking that the question was weird but rather pretty reasonable. He does speak to Chibi and he does understand the dragon and they even get into fights which often lead to Asahi sending them to seperate corners but Kasari didn't need to know about that.
"Well not exactly, I can kinda understand his thoughts and emotions but I can't really talk to him like a human being."

Kasari blinked in surprise and looked down at him. "That's kind of what it's like with me and animals! I can understand them, but they don't understand me, save for Rowan."

Mai looks up at her with a surprised look also.
"Oh?"
He smiles kindly, even though she couldn't see it but he tried making it sound through his words.
"Thats a special gift you have, Kasari-chan."

Kasari blinked in surprise. She heard the smile in his voice, but didn't see why her gift was special. "But...but...Doesn't everyone have gifts like that?"

Mai shakes his head.
"O, I'm afraid not. If everyone did then you probably wouldn't have been kicked out and hit with a pan."

Kasari snaps and stamps her foot. "Well crap! I though everyone was like that." Leaning down, she grabbed her white cane from off of the ground. She scanned it a bit in front of her until she found a chair, and then sat in it.

Mai laughs nervously, having backed away all the way to the wall to take refuge from her temporary fit. He stands up and pats her head, holding Chibi with his free hand.
"Heh heh, I'm so sorry but I guess not?"

Kasari sighs and looks to the ground. "It's quite alright. So," She looked in his direction. "What would you like to talk about?"

Mai tilts his head and sits down beside the chair.
"Hm,...Well, whats your favorite color?"

Smirking at the fact that he had just asked a blind person what their favorite color was, she replied. "I can't really see colors, but I can feel them when I touch something natural, like a flower. It isn't a strong feeling, just a little smidgen of it's original intentions." Kasari smiled. "Green."

Mai saw her smirks and he gave a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of his head.
"A-ah. Gomen, I kinda forgot. You don't really act like your blind"
He hugs his knees, Chibi being forced to transfer to Mai's head.
"Green huh? Thats a nice color, always pretty always vibrant and full of life."
He smiles softly and looks to the sky.
"I myself like the sky, the color blue."

Kasari smiled. "It's alright. Blue is a great color. It's intentions are pure, not a hint of evil in it." Kasari tilted her head towards the sun, taking in the warm day.

Susyuma Mai was chuckling, Not a speck of evil huh? Wow, that was something he had not been told yet.

"Thank you, I'm a fan of its brightness as well. Hm...Let's see, favorite feeling, like an emotion ?"
He thinks of something that she would eb able to answer more easily.

Kasari thinks for a while. "I would have to say....comfort. To know that your safe is the best thing there is. And you?"

Mai stares softly at the grass in front of him and hugs Chibi.
"...My favorite feeling...would have to be love."
He sounded a bit girly as he said it but he continued.
"If your loved, your happy. And thats all I want to be..."
His eyes dull slightly and Chibi starts hurring into Sasuyuma's chest, trying to make him feel better.

Kasari realized that Chibi was trying to comfort him. Reaching out from her seat, she looked rather foolish searching around for the boy's head. Once she found it, Kasari pet his hair gently. "Why is there sadness around that statement?"

Mai felt a familiar pain in his chest and he leaned into her touch.
"...I don't want to be a burden."

Kasari slid off of her chair and hugged him like a mother or a sister would. "I don't see why you would be a burden for anyone. You musn't think like that." She continued to pet his hair comfortingly.
