Nachimoto Sidewalks

Mai blinks and his gaze softens and he looks up to her with a confused look, he wasn't confused by her actions but he was confused inside. About his parent's death, by his brother's certain concern for him and about... His mind trails off and he closes his eyes and does his best to trail off the topic.
"Kasari-chan...What's it like to be...blind?"

Kasari pulled away from him a bit to give him space. It was a hard question to answer, she had been blind her whole life. "Well," She began. "Physically...you see black. Only black. You can't go anywhere without people whispering about you. Some people think you're useless, or you always need help. But worst of all..." Kasari looked away from him. "People play cruel tricks on you. When you need help, they will push you into a river, or steal your money. It is hard to be blind, but I have known nothing else."

Mai looks to her sadly but he also felt a surge of respect for her.
"I don't see why people would do those cruel things...You're really mature, Kasari-chan."

Kasari frowned a bit. "Some people by nature are cruel. Thank you, Sasuyuma."

Mai looks up at her with a bright look.
"Might I call you 'Onii-chan' ?"

Kasari laughed lightly and nodded. "Of course you can." She stopped hugging him and worked her way back into the chair that she was in before. Kasari took her white cane and placed it in her lap.

Mai claps his hands together, a happy tint on his cheeks and he looks out along the path and he hums to himself before looking to Kasari again.
"Onii, what's your favorite feel, as in like fur or soft or hard things?"

"Hm.... It would have to be longer fur." Kasari smiles and flexes her hands. "It's so soft and fluffy and like a cloud."

Mai nodded in agreement.
"Hai, so soft and fluffy. Especially if all i have to pet is this little guy. Haha!"
He hugs the hurring Chibi, who was fuming at being embarrassed.

Kasari laughed a bit. "Same with me and Rowan. He's got short fur, more like velvet."

Mai laughs softly.
"Hai, you know, I always had mixed feelings about velvet. If you rub it one way its soft, if you rub it the other way, it starts feeling...strange to me at least."

Kasari nods. "I know right? It's very confusing." Kasari yawns tiredly and stands, taking her white cane with her. "I have to go for the night. Sleep well, little one." She turned and walked out onto the street, using her white cane to guide herself out.

Mai smiles and watches her leave.
"Good-bye, Onii-chan! Be careful on your way home!"
He gets up and dusts himself off and picks out a blade of grass off of his pants before turning to leave himself, followed by a hopping Chibi.

Sora sat leaning against the wall of a building, working contently with her sketchbook. The whole town had always seemed wonderful to her, and she never grew tired of the scenery. How trees and plants existed equally with the buildings and such.

Ragna happened to be walking along the sidewalk with his violet eyes downward. Glancing upward he caught sight of a girl, Ragna raised a eyebrow curiously as his pace as he walked slowed down a bit while his muzzle kept his lower half hidden so no one could see the curiousness of his frown.

She stiffened slightly as she broke her pencil. She could feel someone's gaze, she knew because she was getting that nervous feelings all of a sudden. She hesitantly glanced up to see a man walking along the sidewalk in her direction, wearing a muzzle over his mouth. She quickly diverted her gaze, fidgeting with her pencil while staring at her feet.

Ragna stopped infront of her and he smirked behind his muzzle. "What are you up too?" He tilted his head, Ragna's voice was muffled from his muzzle which he found annoying at times but he figured it wasn't a big deal considering that he needed to wear this muzzle at times.

Her fidgeting became more persitant as she looked at his feet, "U-um, nothing sir..."

Ragna chuckled as he bended down so he was on his left knee so he could see her face. "Oh, then why are you alone? It isn't wise to be out here by yourself. You never know who would just wisk you away." Ragna eventually put his right knee down due to the fact it was killing his back for bending down on one knee.

"I-I come out by myself all the time... I'm fine, really." She said, looking away, as she was always afraid of eye contact, no matter who she was talking to, for a reason she could never quite figure out.

Ragna looked to her silently before asking. "Am I really that strange?"

She was silent for a moment before she reluctantly looked up into the man's face. She hesitated before saying, "Why would you think that?" Her eyes revealed an honest nature, true blue, but clouded with carefulness.

Ragna pointed to the muzzle. "Well, this?" Ragna pointed to himself meaning his 9'2 height. "And this?" Ragna went silent before looking down trying to find another thing that made him strange.

"Well..." She mumbled, trying to come up with a response. Her gaze drifted to the other people walking along the sidewalk, "Everyone's strange... aren't they?" Though it was a wonder she was even speaking at all, her voice was still soft and quiet. She could pick out something odd from just about everyone she observed. There was a teenage boy with black hair that kept his head down as he walked. There was a business woman who was arguing on the phone, probably with a work associate, possibly an associate of a lower position. There was even a homeless man with greying hair, holding out his cap, hoping someone would make a generous donation.

Ragna nodded quietly. "Yeah, some are stranger than others" He glanced over his shoulder keeping a eye on the bustle of the crowds behind him, Ragna looked back to the girl silently and he raised his left eyebrow up silently. "Something tells me you are getting use to things?"
